My work encompasses a few words I can describe it in
我的作品可以用幾個字來囊括
“Finding humanity in the world in all the so called ugliness”
“在醜陋的世界中探討人性”
To me, beauty is a short lived thing, but ugliness can seal an eternal lasting image into our hearts
對我來說 美麗是短暫的 醜陋才可以讓人在心中留下深刻印象
So my work often features the dark, wicked, disgusting, lustful, rotting and such evil connotations people associate with ugliness
所以在我的作品中常常充滿了癡肥 禿頭 骯髒的體液 情色 等一般人認為醜陋的元素
But with my work, I create beauty to reveal the ugly side of things
但是我卻是以美麗的表現手法來表現醜陋這回事
Which creates an oxymoron for the viewer to find beauty in all the ugliness
會讓人覺得”畫的好漂亮 但是又好醜”這種矛盾的觀看氛圍
My work is not a serious social critique or have any hidden twist messages, but rather they are just visual stories of a simple word or simple incident
作品本身並不一定有很嚴謹的涵義在 可以是簡單的一句話 一個事件
Every piece I create delivers a certain humor
每一幅作品基本上都是在傳達一種幽默看事物的觀點
Which gives the viewer my perspective on how I see the world
讓觀者看到我的作品 能夠隨之起舞 並站在我的角度看世界
Bonding our minds together like a play
在腦海中上演屬於我跟你的戲碼
If somebody is emotionally moved and effected by my work
如果有人因為我的作品而感到任何情緒上的波動
That is what I truly desire
